We choose the moon
persuade the lunar surface
bring out the key
a mismatch between desire
of a loved one
and a new city.
risk can feel lonely,
a wear and tear on the body
of perceptions.
This creates a feeling
entrenched in common sense
but they are what they are
loneliness is meaningful.
Otherwise, we risk
the face of the moon
we deserve nothing less.
